Description

Use 5 different hand tools (hammer, screwdriver, wrench, pliers, tape measure, saw, chisel, level, etc.) and record each in use. Show realistic tool operation — grip, positioning, force application, and release. Capture tool choice behavior and handling patterns for robotic manipulation research.

Recording Specifications

• ▶ Resolution: 1080p minimum, grip and tool tip visible
• ▶ Work Surface: Tool must interact with a real work surface or material
• ▶ Tools Required: 5 different hand tools, at least 45 seconds per tool
• ▶ Action Sequence: Pick up tool, demonstrate use, set down tool (not drop)
• ▶ Camera Position: Overhead or 45-degree, tool and work surface visible
• ▶ Tool Categories: Must include at least 2 of: striking, turning, gripping, measuring

Quality Criteria

All 5 tools must be used on a real surface/material (not just demonstrated). Each tool use must be at least 45 seconds. Grip transitions between tools must be visible.
